I love having my sistas around.
Together we sit down, gossiping, chit-chatting
and Dine.
As always, We can never get away from food.
Food has connected us, friendship and cheers.
We were here at Bar.B.Q Plaza for dinner and a small reunion before the big one comes.
The secret brown sauce that flown in directly from Thailand; add in the lime juice, garlic and chili padi to give the hotness
One of the starter we had. something to do with bacon (sorry, can't remember its exact name)
Deep fried chicken wings with lemongrass were not good looking when served. Appeared to be dark in colour and we thought they were burnt. To our surprise, the chicken wings were well marinated, good and juicy.
Family Mixed Set (RM 49.90) came with 4 bowls of white rice that were enough to feed the 5 of us. The ingredients included beef (we had it substituted with pork slices), pork, lamb, chicken, squids, bacon, jelly fish as well as salmon. Others were the cabbages, lettuce, fish noodles, fish cake, tofu pok, carrots and mushrooms.
fresh slices...
Lard working as cooking oil danced sizzling-ly on the pan
We love 'cooking' our food, and feed one another :)
Here is a place for you to enjoy the cooking, 'proud' up with your 'cooking skill' as well as a get-together with friends and family.
Last but not least, we then traveled a few floors up for Yokomon Japanese Ice Cream. Quite a surprise that it has actually relocated to a more visible area near the escalator. But... no more seats available for us to rest our feet and we had to stand at one side scooping the ice cream.
Matcha and Goma, priced at RM 5 per cup. Errrr, we found it weird to have our Goma Ice taste like Azuki?!?!?! or there was something wrong with my taste buds?!
My sistas - Citygal, Christine, Sugar and I :)
After the little feast in Umai-ya (read my previous visit here), we returned for a greater feast (this was happened Last Month). This round, our mission was to eat up to RM 400 (on food) to get the RM 200 off from the total bill (beverages, desserts and taxes are not included. In the end, "Burrrrrpssss" were the only thing we managed to 'speak' out and we had to carry our fully-filled-stomach and walked out from Umai-ya. I was glad that we invited my aunt and her family along; or else, we would end up 'burrrrrpingggg' x 2!!!
