Kaki Bola @ Taman Segar, Cheras

IMG_3694

My perfect bowl of XO Fish Head Noodles must always come with fried fish, tomatoes, preserved vegetables (ham choy), handful of chopped scallion and the most important things - the soupy rich broth that is not overly sour, not overly milky but rich in a hint of rice wine.

I am glad; this place is situated not far away from my house has my favourite bowl of XO Fish Head Noodles.

Kaki Bola, the name of this restaurant. ( sorry for the blur pic) am sure you are quite surprise with the name of this restaurant. Yep, that's it. You won't find any kaki bola around but their famous XO Fish Head Noodles.

The regular bowl is priced at RM 6.80 is very large that I hardly can finish it all alone. However, my mum and I love sharing a bowl of large serving which is priced at RM 9. the serving is just ngam for both our stomachs.

As I have described earlier, this is my perfect bowl of XO Fish Head Noodles - with fried fish, tomato slices, preserved vegetables (ham choy), a thicker than usual version of bee hoon, served in a soupy rich milky broth and finally the toss-in-chopped scallion.

Slurrrrpppppppp, we polished up everything, even the last drop of milky broth. Love the soupy broth a lot with a hint of rice wine.

besides XO Fish Head Noodles, their huat tan hor 滑蛋河 (RM 5.50) is another great stuff to try out.

Huat Tan Hor with real wok hei.

Okay, I feel sick of describing. I am very hungry now!!!
