Me: Really?! Yes I am in. hold on, you don’t want to go?!
Friend: oh, this is extra and no one in my family wanna go. I am going to sis and family with the other 4 tickets I have.
Me: yes yes, I want! One for me please. Are we sitting together?!
Friend: No…
Me: Har?! Then me alone sitting there?!
Friend: that’s why I am telling you, I have 2tickets, you have to bring another friend.
Me: oh gosh!!! Where can I get another friend to go?!
Friend: ask your bro larrr

And yep, my youngest bro agreed to go with me…

To A Mei’s Star Tour Live In Malaysia!!!

Yada yada yada… with the un-ready feeling and mind, I was here at Stadium Bukit Jalil. I was so unprepared, I had not practice to sing her song… gosh, hopefully I could sing well along with the crowd!



A Mei’s concert started sharply at 8.45pm by a guest singer from Malaysia. She jumped out from the stage at 9pm sharp and sang for 3 hours!!! In between, she is touched and cried for a few times. Especially the time she was singing 记得 with the crowd. She nearly emotionally couldn’t recover. She said we sang well :p

For me, the greatest thing was --- I actually got VIP seats. It was just about 10 rows away from the stage. She is really good in single. Although she has sang for hoursss, her voice was still very stable and powerful! As for the crowd… there were noise and shouts and cheers and…… it was merry and happy!

It has been a long time since my last updates. Please forgive me as I am busy preparing for the tests on next week and those never-ending workloads, reports and assignment.

Oh my… I have 4 tests in a row on next week and even 2 of them fall in the same day. Sigh… Tough tough tough… now even 48 or 72 hours in a day also not enough. Sigh…

Sick for exams...

Exam is drawing near.
That is something makes me really very worry.
I am not well prepared.

Prosperity in My Pocket ^^

Chinese New Year atmosphere is in the air.

The Thaipusum (did I spell it correctly?!) holiday, everyone must have outta for CNY goodies, clothes and preparation. I wish I could do a little shopping, joined the crowd out there and inhaled the air of CNY…

But I could only sob with books. This is killing me. Heavy workloads and exams and tests all came in a sudden. I am suffocated and could hardly breathe through these hectic lifeless killing-ness studies.

Yes,
Inhaler, I need you.
Extra O2, I need you.

NoNoNo,
Brain Juice, I need you.
Enthusiasm in books, I need you.
Focusing and concentration, I need you too.
“PASS”es in exam/test, I need you MORE.

Hence, I stopped myself from reading and drove out for McD’s drive thru for the Chicken Prosperity Burger Set which consisted of a Large Curly Fries, Large cool ice Green Tea and the Peppery Grilled Chicken Burger.








Fiery Peppery Grilled Chicken topped with slices of onions and sandwiched in between long sesame-d bread.








The Curly Fries where I got my extra ‘Ohmmm’ to continue.



Ahhh… here comes my prosperity.

PS: Happy that McD comes out with chicken prosperity set for me to try out. They have beef burger set too. These sets are introduced before and during CNY only.

It was a disaster in the test this morning. Sigh…

Off to go, off to go…

I will be flying off to Langkawi few hours later. I should be happy at this moment because finally I can go for a vacation with my secondary school gang. Vacation! That’s what I need. However…… I am taking the risk in studies. I am skipping the 5 hours lectures on Monday. Gosh!!! This is so no good. I am feeling very guilty now… How?! Do I manage to catch up with the lectures?! I don’t think so as second year’s courses are very tough! No eyes to see… sigh…


Anyway, me gonna celebrate the New Year eve in Langkawi. This should be another great experience with friends…

Back~

Miss me yes?! Miss me not?!

I’m back but I’ve ‘transformed’ into a panda with heavy dark eyes circles. Very Thanks to my last paper which was a disaster. With just less than 4 hours sleep a day before to memorize but those I memorized was not in questions. Iks… hope to pass hope to pass. I just want a Pass for that subject.

Its holiday now but I have lots to do. Need to do cleaning, clear up the mess I’ve done in the living room, my room, reading area. No matter where I was days before exam, there were notes and paper around each corner. And of course, update my blog and read up some un-finish novel, clear the 2 weeks Star newspaper-sss (yeah, I’ve no time for newspaper) and Rest!

Final countdown

It’s the final countdown to exam. Oh my, I hate this lot. Tomorrow would be a nightmare for me. Tomorrow’s paper is the subject I hate most and it’s the subject I can’t do well the most. There’re still plenty to catch up, loads to memorize and remember. I hate hate hate exam very much!

What I can do now is burning extra mid night oil to swallowing books and notes and vomit-out words on the paper. Must concentrate hard and study study study!!!

Hence, I would not have any updates for a week.
Oh please, I need to get away from my PC or at least keep myself away from drooling over food blogs for a week.

A visit to Ulu Yam (I)

Some were heading back to hometown while some were rushing down to the heart of KL on the eve of Merdeka night. However, a KL gal like me, mostly would have thought that I will be celebrating the eve night with whole bunch of friends and counting down together with the crowd, or maybe watching the well-presented fireworks in Putrajaya?!

Nope… not these. Instead, I went to my aunt’s hometown with my aunt and her family and spent a night off there. Weird enough huh?! Why am I not going to my parents’ hometown but my aunt’s one?!

Well, when a city girl stepped her foot into a village, everything will seems new and interesting to her. Oh, don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that this was my first time staying in a village, but visiting village in new different places would be another fun and exciting experience!

My aunt’s hometown --- Ulu Yam is about 45 minutes from Cheras. It’s quite a short distance compared to my dad’s one because it will take about 5 hours to reach dad’s hometown. Anyhow, this 45minutes drive seems long to me too! I felt so sleepy when traveled through the no-lamp-posts road. We drove passed a huge lake for water reservoir (I think), sadly, it was already late and I couldn’t have a chance for pictures.

I got a call from a friend after I arrived at the village and he told me that there are lots ‘seh chong she ngai’ (snake insect mouse ant --- in Cantonese) around. Yes indeed, there were lots and I hate mosquito very much!!! After a while, we headed outta for supper. The Tong Lo Wan kopitiam nearby which is highly recommended by my little cousin brother was not opened. Sob-sob, then we chose the kopitiam next door.

We had the ‘si ham’ (which I dunno what it calls in English).

I don’t usually take ‘si ham’ but I gave a try instead. It smelt not good (bit hanyir) but tasted heavenly good! It tasted like the oyster. And it went well with the chili sauce! Yummy~

My uncle sad the kopi-O in that kopitiam is very nice. It’s kinda late and afraid I myself would not able to sleep if I take the caffeine drink; hence, I opt for the ABC ice kacang. The enormous bowl of ABC ice kacang laded with lost of red beans, cincau, peanuts, the pandan agar-agar and syrups. ~cold~ the weather was cold and I still had this cold stuff. ~lagi cold~

As I already had a full dinner, I watched them eating the pan mee.

I woke up quite early the next morning and we drove out to have breakfast. My aunt and I opted to have curry mee while my uncle and his children went for roasted duck and wan ton mee. When I have finished my curry mee and went over to look for my uncle, they have already finished up their plates (so, no pics). I was told that their roasted duck is very delicious and sold out very early. Guess what?! My uncle didn’t get to have the roasted duck as they are all sold out in this early morning (9.30am)! I was also told that a lot of people on their way back from Genting Highland will come over to get their reserved roasted duck. How great their business is?!

Ewww… didn’t get to try out the roasted duck and the Tong Lo Wan kopitiam. I will come again for that!!!

Harry Potter, the final

As soon as my class ended in this morning, I hurried to fetch Fang and we both rush to Carrefour mid valley to get out copies of Harry Potter, and the deadly hallows. Needless to say, everyone must have known about this hot book and hot issue today that 3 huge bookstore refuse to sell the books. Instead of the retail price at Rm 109.90, the hypermarts are selling the books at Rm 69.90 at the lowest rate. the books were selling like a hot cake!

Happy that I have grabbed one of them. However, I don’t really satisfy with the plastic bag they provided where else Tesco hypermarts giving off a nice handy paper bag with every of the copy purchased. I am really envy with Eldred. Read his post, he got the really nice paper bag. *Huh*

work on Pre-Exhibition

Another job, another exhibition and yep, I have finished my job for this another exhibition. Miccos 07, the Malaysia International Commodity Conference & Showcase 2007 is held in PWTC on 3rd July to 8th July, from 9am to 9pm. I was there for the pre-exhibition work from Cityneon and it was indeed another pretty challenging task. I’d enjoyed it a lot but too bad that environment there was not as great as the time while I was in KL convention centre. We could not enjoy air-con there and no pretty counter for us to sit and no pretty scenery too.

Sigh… There will be a lot of pretty well-decorated booths on the show day but I worked on pre-exhibition only. So, I am going to miss out those pretty decorated booth. Besides that some of the booths are selling food and stuff. From what I saw, one of the booths opens up a chocolate stall and named as Koko Bistro. They are selling chocolate, beverages, variety of mousse and cakes and cookies. See, I miss out all these sweet food again. Sigh sigh sigh…

Besides that, the decoration in the timber sector is another pretty area. You will be amazed with their hard works on building up from the plain ground to beautiful small houses and even have a garden with ponds and bridge. They have only less than 24 hours to finish up their works. It was like ‘wow’ once I saw it. Just Too bad that I can’t enjoy their marvelous creations on the exhibition day. Sigh sigh sigh… (sorry, no pics on this)

Kekeke, it was fun working with Ting Fang. I dragged her up to work with me so I won’t be alone. We both chatted a lot, giggled a lot because I kept telling her the same thing over and over again. [Fang, you know what is that] I think she will feel irritating and very fan with that. Kekeke. Hope you don’t mine. Happy working together, fang.

Hooray, the final paper has just ended. That’s PNS- peripheral nervous system and I just don’t really like this subject as it covers physiology, pharmacotherapy, basic medicine chemistry and the clinical part. Part of it, I like only medicine chemistry part. Well, it is all over now and I have no idea what I have written for the paper. This might be due to the lack of sleep and I see blur blur screen in front of me now @.@

Alright, I am very happy cz back in my normal life now. Hehehe… now gotta blog on what I haven’t blog weeks ago.

Working for CityNeon on SMIDEX 2007, KLcc --- Day 4

Today is my forth day on my duty. My job for the final 2 days starts at 9am and end at 6pm. Phew, finally can go back normal working hours. For the first 3 days, I have to work for 12 to 13 hours daily. I was exhausted once I reached home at 10pm, slept at 1am and the next morning I have to wake up by 6am to prepare myself. No choice because KL’s traffic is always congested in the morning.

Gonna indulge myself with a bit pricey and special food for lunch after long hours work previous days. However, there is not much choice in convention centre and I can’t walk all my way into KLCC cz need to be back at the counter for duty. Instead, I take away from starbucks. Here is the take away of American Bake Cheese cake.

Looks yummy, taste yummy. Just a little bit dissatisfied… the cake is a bit bit dry and not as smooth as before. Or am I too choosy? It is still acceptable cz cheese cake is always my all time favourite.

Although this job is tiring and drive me crazy (sometimes), I find it is interesting. I’d learnt a lot in communication, handling situation, controlling over your emotion and stuff. Surely I will take up this kind of job again if there exhibition and they need temporary staff.
