When mum is back from BKK

Yay, she is back and brought us some goodies.

Coconut toffee is the best candy I have ever had. This is a must to buy if you travelled to Bangkok. I have tried a few different brands with the almost the same packaging (difference only in the colour paper they used and the brands). So far, this is the greatest of all. Every tiny piece of it is full with coconut essence! Yum!

Another things --- crispy cuttlefish. It’s so crunchy~

Greetings from Kuantan

Holiday is over.
It is Time to ‘pack’ up myself and get back on studies. Final is just in one month time but I am still lazying around; never want to get a book and study.

Bad habit,
bad habit,
bad habit which I can’t throw away.

My aunt was traveling to Kuantan and brought us this.

The Biskut Kuantan manufactured and packed by Mun Heng Bakery. This can be found only in Kuantan. (Or Pahang?! Maybe.)

Blocks of biscuits with sprinkles of sesame full with the very hometown-feel.

The crunchy and hard biscuit are great and compatible with a cup of white coffee. The coffee brings out the fragrant of biscuit and the biscuit soaks up the aroma of coffee.

Best for laid back and relax days (my whole Raya-holiday --- laid back and relax and TV and gaming and without book. Iksss… Guilty).

Choc-Choc-Choc

I have been craving for chocolate whole day yesterday. It came in a sudden. So, I went looking all over for chocolate in house. Oh-oh. My giant chocolate jar with assorted chocolate was empty.

I remembered there is a packet of Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Cube I bought from Langkawi. But I couldn’t find it anywhere in the house. Mum has hid it away from me.

My craving for chocolate couldn’t stop and so, I ended up with Tiger’s chocolate cream sandwich cookies.

I couldn’t believe that until dad’s back. He brought these … … and you won’t believe how crazy he is.

Mountains of chocolate… erm… should be ladders of chocolate. Haha

There are Kit Kat and Cadbury chocolate bars in my house now but no dark chocolate. Well, these may satisfy my craving for some times if I am really out of dark chocolate.

I need to stock up dark chocolate when I do shopping. To prevent tracking down by mum, I think I need to hide them under my bed or in my closet =) Ha-ha, Just kidding!

Simply snack

This would be a light post after all stressful days. Please forgive me if you found me not using really nice word to describe things. My brain works abnormally. Partly, it is greatly ‘damaged’ by the memorizing hard and partly, I need more rest.

While I was in Hartamas shopping centre, I found myself ‘treasure’ from Citi Super (I dun remember if spelled as City or Citi).

This Lotte Fondue is just Rm 2. (Sorry, I can’t read Korean. I guess Lotte Fondue is not the real name for this snack)

fancy the packing of Korean and Japanese products. They always have good printings, designs on the packing and that’s the way they ‘sell’ their products!

Café Latte Stick at the same price too. As compared to other supermarket, Citi Super offers some low-rate-items like Korean instant noodles, cookies.... at a great deal.

Another Lotte pineapple cream at just Rm 2.50.

Then while I was in Shojikiya, the Japanese Specialty store, I found this little cutie --- Snoopy Magnet. The staff put them on the must-go-out rack priced at Rm 2. I have them magneted on the fridge over my class schedule.

The month’s special, Organic green tea powder at… --- I forgot the price...
Anyway, I am now searching for recipe which I can use the powdered green tea.

いかピ一ナIka Peanut by Kasugai

This is what I love when I need a quick 2 minutes meal. Just pour the flakes over your white rice and mix. Fast, simple and easy.

Chelsea抹茶ミルク(matcha miruku) with カテキン (catechin) added and the right one yogurt scotch. Both are nice but I personally prefer the yogurt-flavoure candy. Priced at only Rm 2.90 which is 3ringgit cheaper than other supermarket.

My M-A-F Celebration

Before our meal, I hopped into my car and took Yen and Khee with me straight to Christine’s house. We were there earlier to have a bit of gals’ chat.

And yet, I brought along these goodies --- muffins for them which I baked in the morning. I have put in many efforts in them. Luckily they turned out to be good ones. Phew~

Then, here are the goodies that brought back from Macau. Leng’s mum got it. No idea what are they. Are they nice, Leng???

After our dinner in Shabu-Shabu restaurant in Bandar Puteri Puchong, we went to her house again. Guess what we did?!

---> Lighted up the lanterns.

We were like kids, playing with lanterns and lit up candles all over Leng’s garden. Feeling happy because I didn’t get to play the lantern or having any mid-autumn festival (M-A-F) celebration at home. this was my so-called mooncake festival celebration. No Mooncakes but there were lanterns for me. Anyway, i got to a belated celebration *wink*
.

The sweetest couple! ~

All lined up form short to tall, left to right. Beep~

Friends forever --- Yen, Khee, Leng and Me. Yen’ll be going to Aus in February while Leng will be going to Scotland in June. As for Khee, she might be back in March or if not then she will be back in September. Gonna miss them a lot!

Cheese from MengGu

Snack from Hat Yai, Thailand

These are the snack bought by parents from Hat Yai, Thailand. That is the mix of fried peanuts, fried dried chilies, ikan bilis and a kind of leaf as spices. Yummy~ I love the ikan bilis very much. The taste and the smell of the leaves are great. Even the peanuts have the taste of the leaves!
