Patisserie RUI @ Mont Kiara, KL

It was a lazy afternoon with the cousin. I have actually thought of Publika for late lunch; but i knew, our tummies couldn't accommodate lots. Therefore, I picked up Patisserie RUI for a cousin-sisters-tete-a-tete session. 






A clean, comfy and inviting dining area in pink-purplish hue.

Oh... It's Monday, again. 
Weekend always comes and goes fast. 
I am sure most of you are having Monday blue now...

I was here on one lazy Sunday for an afternoon tete-a-tete with my bestie; seated in one corner and lying lazily into the comfy high-back sofa. 

Su's Cakes for Kicks @ Fahrenheit88

Yay! Tea Time!!!



I settled myself at Su's Cakes for Kicks while waiting for the parents to do their shopping.
Digging into a piece of cheese cake and sipping away the hot caffeine drink. 
If only the place has better privacy setting, I would stay here all afternoon with a magazine / book with me. 



Cappuccino (RM 7.50)



There was only a number selection of cheese cakes available on that Sunday. No sight of baked cheese cake and there were only chilled cheese cake and cookies. Therefore, I chose to have Dark Chocolate Cheese Cake (RM 8). It was made with imported Belgian dark chocolate that smoothly blended with cheese; rested on the Oreo cookies base and final touched with glossy chocolate cream topping. Neither too bitter nor too sweet. Just right to go with a cuppa. 



Su's Cakes for Kicks started as home-based cake bakery back in 2004. We can now enjoy her tantalizing homemade cakes in Fahrenheit88 and now, she has opened a small collection depot at Lorong Kurau, Bangsar.

Cafe Stelle by Raffles @ Pavilion KL

A perfect Saturday afternoon with the girls - gossiping and shopping without their guys tagging along. After some crazy shopping, we finally 'landed' here for a little of soul and mind relaxation.

We were attracted by their English High Tea set that priced reasonably at RM 50 nett for 2 persons (but we had this shared among three of us).



The High Tea Set comes with

- Assorted Air Dried Fruit Scones with Marmalade, Strawberry Jam & Unsalted Butter

Grand Wedding comes with the hint of sweet smelling and fruity one; French Earl Grey



Tastewise, we find that only a few selections from the above were good. However, we enjoyed the relaxing moments with the high tea set, the chats and the mind resting :)
