con't: Pick n' Brew @ 1 Utama

Test and exam always make people sick. But food never let us down. Once I come across with food, my soul is lifted, and I become lively again! ~

I am glad to have joined the food bloggers eat-out session on last Friday. It tensed me down, energetic-ed and spirited me up!

Right now, let’s continue with the food in Pick n’ Brew.

The compliment Bread (soft and fluffy)

and Olive Oil with Balsamic Vineger.

Seafood Chowder (Rm 13), the fresh creamy seafood broth

The Cream of Mushroom Soup (rm 13) which is made with cream of wild mushrooms (thick and flavourful!).

Spanish Prawn Avocado Salad (Rm 19) which served with Prawns, avocado, green olives and tomatoes tossed in Tahitian dressing. The dressing was very appetizing and I bet many ppl will love this

Jackson highly recommended his house’s Braised Lamb Shank (Rm 38). It was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus and with amount of gravy. Taste superb indeed. I was being told that the difference between the Braised Lamb Shank from GlenMarie and one U outlet is that, the one from One U is cooked and prepared with red wine while the one from GlenMarie does not.

Oven baked Oats and Almond Crusted Snapper (Rm 28) with roasted vegetable and potatoes, served with chunky basil tomato

Greenobloise Salmon Fillet (Rm 32). It came with boiled potatoes, roasted vegetables and lemon capers butter.

Penne Carbonara (Rm 18) was originally served with beef bacon in cream sauce but this had substituted with chicken bacon as the one who ordered can’t take beef.

One of the Introductory sets (only at Rm 10) Promotion until end of April!!! ~

Angel Hair Marinara (Rm 22) was served with prawns, green mussels and squid in tomato sauce and came in quite a big serving. We all had a forkful on it and it was delicious and seafood-ly-fresh in the tomato sauce.

Grilled Rib Eye of Beef (Rm 38) which was served with cream of onion and red wine sauce

Lamb Tikka (Rm 17) was quite large in serving and it came with skewered pieces of marinated lamb with flavored rice.

Blueberry Cheesecake

Apple Crumble Cheesecake (Rm 9 each)

For coffee lover, never forget to try out the variety of beverages brewed from coffee bean. Citygal ordered herself the Columbia Bean in Mocha Pot. It was very aromatic and I got attracted to it. However, it was kinda late for me to have a cuppa. Else I would be ‘all-night-awake’. Anyhow, I will return for their coffee.
