I had a trip to the east - Kemaman with my family in the end of May; to welcome the arrival of summer! We have chosen this place was because there is beach; and also to unwind and have a break from the hectic schedule.
There isn't much Chinese restaurant here. We started our Kemaman trip with Restoran Kemaman for lunch. They served quite homely taste food and stuffed crab. Well, Stuffed crab is everywhere in Kemaman!
Stuffed Crab. The mix of minced crab meats, onions, and some other ingredients, and finally filled in back; covered with a thin batter and deep fried into golder brown. it tasted okay and not the best throughout this trip.
Stir-fried Mantis prawn with dried chilies.

Nihon Kai Japanese Restaurant @ Old Klang Road
Nihon Kai, another Japanese restuarant located at Old Klang Road, serving good quality of Japanese food. And best of all, it won't hurt your wallet :)
I was here with my aunt and family one Saturday for dinner + a pre birthday celebration for cousin. The place was crowded and it took us 20 minutes on the waiting line. Business was really good!
Sashimi Platter (RM 53) - lots of fresh thick sashimi (salmon, tuna, squids, prawns...), ebikko, and roes!

Food Crawl: Jaya One (Part 1)
Food Craw is another thing I love. I used to have food crawling session with a gang of close friends or makan kaki-s. We did an extreme one in Ipoh for 3 days and also a short one at Balakong. Just some weeks back, I received an invitation to have food crawl in Jaya One.

It's so Lemon-y Fruity!!!
Yummy...
Fragrant in natural lemony taste,
none artificial, fresh and aromatic.
ahhh... how I wish I could have a slurpppp on it.
But noooo, it is food for the skin.
This is the Lemon Cleanser I bought it from My Beauty Cottage and I have been using it for quite some times. My mum has always "implants" me with the theory - "You are what you Eat" and this applies well to the skin too.
This Lemon Cleanser contains:
Lemon with Vitamin C, will help to tone and refresh the skin
Herbs oil will help to soften and enrich the skin
Bioflavonoids moisturize and nourish the skin
Biocomplex, an antioxdant booster of Vitamin A, Vitamin C ester, Vitamin E, Coenzyme Q10 and alpha lipoic acid

Sakura @ Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur
Dining in Sakura Restaurant winded me back to my parents' years.
About 25 years ago, they used to have their dates here.
Hands in Hands, walked in and dined.
Had plates of Nasi Lemak at RM 4 (per plate).
Back to their old days, it was considered a splurge for them...
Sakura, established since 1977, for famous local cuisine; needs no further introduction, has been a landmark and touristy spot too for the foreigners.
Tom Yum Seafood Soup served with bread and butter
Nasi Lemak (RM 14.80) with coconut steamed rice, served with chicken curry, sambal ikan bilis, floss, hard-boiled egg, acar, and fresh cucumber. THe chicken curry was good and sambal was very spicy; but the coconut steamed rice was slightly not that 'lemak; (a little bit lack of the coconut milky fragrant).

Pla dib @ The Heritage Village, Seri Kembangan
If it was not The Star, We would not be able to find out this hidden gem.
Pla dib, the Bangkok's top-ranked Thai fusion restaurant, has just started their business 3 months ago, situate at here Heritage Village, Seri Kembangan; facing a great view of 50-acre lake; serving the very interesting Thai fusion dishes.
Pla dib means "raw fish" in Thai.
We ran through the menu - pasta, pizza, main courses, fusion appetizers... it is more like Japanese fusion dishes or Italian cuisine. there was no sight of tom yum too.

My Beauty Cottage @ SohoKL
I love my beautiful afternoon.
Sipping my cup of organic Tea while swaying to the rhythm of music.
Here was I in My Beauty Cottage @ Soho KL - full with English Cottage atmosphere where you could hardly think that is actually a beauty house.
Eminence from Hungary. Since 1958
Once I stepped in, I was welcomed by Grace and Cindy; the person in charge of My Beauty Cottage. After some questioning and examination on my skin and the history about the Eminence skin care, I was served with a cup of 100% purely organic Sugar Plum & Spice Tea.
Source: Eminence
Sugar Plum and Spice Tea - enriched with vitamin C rich plums, rosehip, black currant, red currant and almond. You will love the intense flavour of the tea. Just a small tiny scoop, it turns the warm colourless water into ruby red. Tasted sourish, fragrant and soothing.
The tea and the products used are from Eminence organic skincare which has been established since 1958. Eminence is the member of the organic trade association. Their skincare products are wholly handmade organically and gained certification from Demeter International, BioKontroll, USDA-Oregon Tilt and USDA-ASCO. Eminence organic skincare also gains International Award and Hollywood superstars supports!
My Beauty Cottage - the one and only authorized distributor on Eminence Handmade Organic products in Malaysia.
To be continued: I was prepared to be pampered......
