Continue from Makan-Makan in Ipoh Day 1
After a good night sleep at Citygal's house, our makan makan journey started with...
1. Dim Sum at the New Foh San
Guess i don't have to elaborate much. Foh San serves one of the best dim sum in Ipoh. We took a hard time for the seats; thanks to Citygal for her very special fighting-for-table technique, else we will have to wait for another hoursss :P
I love Dim Sum!!!

2. Tian Chun (House of Mirror) - Egg Custard
The egg custard we longed to have was sold out on our very first day in Ipoh. We never wanted to miss out any great stuff and hence, we sacrificed our precious sleeping time and woke up early for this.
The Shaky wobbly egg custard, smooth and silky, drizzled with caramel to sweeten the egg custard. We gals love it!!!

3. Funny Mountain Tau Foo Fah
Next on, we headed for famous silky smooth Tau Foo Fah )everything is smooth and silky in Ipoh!!!). the good thing is, they provide drive thru service. :) their daily business is impressive, be early if you want a bowl of Tau Foo Fah.

4. Sin Eng Heong - Mini Kaya Puff
Fresh from the oven!!!
Crispy on the outer layer with fragrant smelling of kaya = A perfect combination. However, I find the kaya was a little too sweet to my liking.

5. Dai Shu Geok (Big Tree Foot) for Yeung Tau Foo (YTF)
I learnt that YTF in Ipoh is known as 'Liew' as in Yeung Liew in Cantonese.
Citygal was on the line to grab the Liews
Look at what she got?! She always has her special technique to grab stuff.
Hor Fun and Lou She Fun to accompany with Liews.

6. Kedai Kopi Kwong Hong
We were not satisfied with the small amount of Liews we grabbed from Dai Shu Geok, hence, we drove over here for more Liews.
Kampungboy's turn this time, on the line for Liews.

7. Seng Kee Heong Peng
Yummy souvenirs for family and friends. They are using the traditional way to produce the very fragrant and crispy pastry.

9. Restoran Kam Wan (Aneka Selera) a.k.a. Tung Ku Teng
One of the longest and active food courts in Ipoh. Again, we took a hard time to look for the seats.
We had the famous oyster sauce crab from Meng Wa Seafood. This was lip-smacking good!!!
My first try-on on the healthy Hakka Lui Cha
Wan Thau Long is really an 'Ipoh Thing' as it is only found in Ipoh with its unique name. It is known as Lengkung Kuning and is actually the citrus flavoured jelly served on shaved ice with the squeeze of lime juice. A refreshing and cooling on, best on hot weather.

.
10. Dessert Street a.k.a. Tong Shui Kai
the final stop on Day 2
Ngap Geok Bao - made with pork, a slice of liver, duck's foot and wrapped with duck's intestine. I adore this!!!
Crackers laden with thick Rojak Sauce and peanut powder.
Plain Wanton Noodles (left) and Ching Po Leung
A bowl of colourful Mixed Fruit Shaved Ice to quench our thirst.
Tong Shui Kai is located opposite SRJKC Sam Tet,
off Jalan Sultan Idris.
