Hi people, it’s NEW YEAR with new start, new chapter and more celebrations to come.

We started of our New Year with Triple celebrations – a New Year celebration, a belated birthday celebration for Chris and an advance birthday celebration for me

Max @ iHaus is located at a very spacious double storey bungalow at Jalan Jati, off Jalan Bukit Bintang.

We tried the Max’s Menu Degustation sets and a few a la carte main courses. The Max’s Menu Degustation (at RM 120 ++) comes with 5 course tasting menu created by their daily availability of the fresh ingredients. The set comes with 3 palatable starters, a main course, a dessert and a glass of Itallian Batasiolo Cascine Prosecco.

2. On the Main Courses, there is nothing to complain about as the ingredients were well prepared, well marinated, cooked and made with hearts.

Sugar and Christine had the Pan Seared Sea Scallops and King Prawn Broccollini Greens with Thyme – Chicken Reduction.

Hillside Farm Lamb Cutlets, char broiled on Artichoke Barigoule and Garlic Gonfit

Shiraz Braised Wagyu Beef Cheeks in Red Wine Sauce with Sautéed Seasonal Greens

Rosemary Braised Duck Leg and Hickory Smoked Duck Breast with Persillade Sauce and Cannellini Bean Casserole

3. The dessert:

A scoop of alcoholic sorbet and a slice of rich creamy cheese cake garnished with blackberries.
