Australia Dairy Company 澳洲牛奶公司 @ Jordan, Hong Kong

DSC_0294

That was early, very early in the morning and the queue was already this long.

We purposely woke up early for this.
Yes, to 澳洲牛奶公司 Australia Dairy Company, the number 1 restaurant in openrice.com 's best restaurant list, voted by the Hong Kies themselves.

Though the queue was long, it took us a short time to get in. Patrons walked in and out every minute; and we knew, we must "move fast and eat fast" too - that's the fast pace lifestyle and culture of HK people. Tea were served once we were seated, it can be used to wash the utensils as well as for drinking purposes (just like what they did in char chan teng we can watch from those TVB drama).

Let's see what's on the list?!
The fast food set (HKD 24) is available all day long; tea time set (HKD 28) is available from 12pm to 10.30pm; the breakfast set (HKD 24) is available before 12pm.

Hong Kies do have big stomachs for breakfast!
We both shared the breakfast set comes with toasts and scrambled eggs and ham, macaroni with ham, coffee/tea (HKD 28)

Scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and well seasoned and the yolk was still lil runny; best scrambled eggs to me but then Citygal it was not buttered enough this round as compared to her previous visit.

Macaroni with soup and ham was something simple and everyone around us seems to enjoy it a lot.

Silky smooth milk tea (HKD 18)

I love this steamed milk pudding (HKD 18) the most - silky smooth and light; with a strong aroma of milk. Yummmmmmmmm!!!

Me satisfying the breakfast!

hehe, the most interesting part I find about eating in HK is that there is no concept of "our table." if the table got 2 empty seats, that means 2 people *will* 'tap toi' and sit down with you!

efficient, imo. unlike malaysia 1 person can booking a whole table that can seat 6 ;P

timing,
haha, timing, it's quite a good experience actually,
sooo, if you dun like having people to 'tap toi', then go in a big gang, then you are able to have the whole table by yourself :)

This is a MUST go already. Missed this the last time, this time die die must eat once. I actually eye the steamed milk more than the others. But since the scrambled eggs are good, i don't see why not ...
