A year has passed.
I still remember what has happened on the 366-night ago. That was my very first experience, signed up myself and headed to this merry official gathering with both my best buddies – Chris and Christine.
A themed party: A Very Retro Christmas
Date: 28 December (Friday)
Venue: My Elephant, Secton 17, Petaling Jaya
Time: 7.30 pm
Dress Code: Retro lah
It was a party organized by Lyrical Lemongrass and Precious Pea, for all food bloggers to have a get-together, know each other face to face and celebrate the Christmas together! Guess I am the very last person to have this posted up. But, isn’t it good to remind and refresh yourselves with last-year-today’s story?! :P

Guess what? We both won the food blogger awards.
I won the award of "Sweetest Female Blogger 2007" and it was a packet of Hershey’s Kissable inside. *Grin*
Award List
I didn’t do much talking that night as I was too nervous to speak. Butterflies were flying in my stomach the moment I stepped down from the car. Luckily I was with Chris and Christine. They both gave me a lot of courage. Once we were welcomed by the friendly Lyrical Lemongrass, Precious Pea and WMW, the nervous-y feeling just melted away.
Well, Hope this might bring you some little sweet memories. Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!!!
It’s Christmas, The once a year cheery and jolly festival that we all longed for!
Wishing all of you a very happy Christmas and enjoy one of the happiest occasions with your loved ones. Never forget to buy a little pressie for those you care and love.
May you all have a fantastic Xmas celebration and a wonderful year ahead, happy New Year! ~
I received this little Xmas pressie weeks ago. She is a thoughtful girl who brought this all along from Ikea back to Cheras.
The Charm Measuring Cups from Ikea.
Thanks, Chin Fa

Xmas 2007
*** Year 2007***
It was the Xmas last year (2007), R offered his house for our once a year tradition Christmas gathering. As a host, he and his friendliness parents offered their generous hospitality and have prepared us quite a lot of food.
Plentiful of Char Mee Hoon
Best compatible with Curry Chicken
Fried finger-food
Chicken Wings
Satay
E and WH bought this platter from Pavilion. Another meaty platter, I shall name it. As you can see, they are all meat besides the cherry tomatoes and sourish pickles.
Another honey ham platter
This was the only Vege prepared. What a tiny portion!
Hence, I shall conclude that all my guy-friends are Meat-Eaters.
I brought along my home-baked fluffy light cheesecake.
After the dinner, we had the pressie-exchange-session.
And the photo taking session
US
(Top row from the left) --- WH , J , YM
(Middle row from the left) --- Wye the Puss , E , Y , Me , F
(Bottom row from the left) --- KS , the generous R , KC
Well, it was last year’s story.
This year?!
no idea as many of them are still in overseas.

Madam Kwan @ KLCC
A week before He and She left to Cardiff, UK.
She wanted a meet out.
She wanted a small gathering for us.
She told me she wants to have Malaysian food very much.
Without hesitation,
He and She, Her and Me,
All 4 of us, Settled at Madam Kwan, KLCC.
It took us some times on the queue. Their business was well.
This is a well-known restaurant for their local delights and Malaysian’s best --- Nasi Lemak.
The food served is quite generous in portion.
Honestly, it was too large for me to finish it up all by myself.
If you are a small eater, you can always share your portion with your friends, family or loved ones.
Taste-wise, the Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Char Kuey Teow were really good and had the wok hei
But the prices per plate are higher than what we normally had.
They even serve Hokkien Noodles!
Nasi Lemak --- Aromatic coconut steamed rice served with chicken curry, sambal ikan bilis, dried shrimp floss, hard boiled eg, acar and fresh cucumber.
Acar
Nasi Bojari --- Madam’s tri-coloured rice with assam prawns, beef rendang and deep fried chicken drumstick. The drumstick was large. Besides that, If you do not take beef, you can always change it for chicken.
Char Kway Teow --- Flat rice noodles stir fried with chicken, prawns, sotong, egg and beansprouts.
Assam Laksa --- Lai fun served in aromatic tamarind broth with fish, cucumber and onions.
Look at the mug with the thick black prawn paste --- hae gou, they just placed this big mug on your table. You can add as much as you want.
After the mains,
He and she shared an ABC ice kacang.
Me and her shared a cendol. It was Milky and delicious. As usual, you can add as much of gula Melaka as you like.
* Me and Her miss He and She very muchie.
