The BFFs.
The Birthday Celebration.
The Porky Dinner.
Yes!
Pork, Pork & Pork!!!
Us at Cristang.
I believe this place need no further description as you may have read this for over hundred or thousand times from the other blogs. Cristang, here we were for her birthday celebration, and savouring the real porky meal with the BFFs.
Green D'Tox (RM 8.90) tasted green, of course :)
Lime Juice (RM 5.80)
Nasi Lemak Goreng with Chinese sausages (Lap Cheong), Bacon and Omelette (RM 12.90) - a very unique but sinful dish with fried Nasi Lemak in the fusion of Western and Malaysian style. Well, to my surprise, I don't find this combination wrong or weird. It was quite special actually, with the sweetness from the lap cheong, the light saltiness from the bacon and all tossed in together with the nasi lemak (yes, that is the aromatic coconut milk-ed rice) and finally topped with the omelette from western.
one word, Lovely
The house's Pork Burget was something not to be missed.
We had the P7 - The Urban Legend which is actually the P4 + melted cheese. Our pork burger was hugely in 250g pork patty, minced pork tossed with chili and chopped petai, bacon bits, melted cheese, onion rings, tomatoes and pickles. i am not the petai person but i find the petai inside was okay for me. The burger was way too tall for our bite's size.
more on their menu:
P1: pork patty (RM 16.80)
P2: P1 + back bacon (RM 19.80)
P3: P2 + minced pork chili con carne (RM 23.80)
P4: P3 + petai stuffed in patty (RM 25.90)
P5: P4 + grilled cajun prawns (RM 28.80)
P6: P5 + grilled fresh cut pineapples (RM 30.80)
P7: P4 + melted cheese (RM 28.80)
P8: Tandoori pork burger (RM 28.80)
P9: The Korean Inspired (RM 30.80)
Bacon Rib Ambila (RM 18.80) is from the grandfather's recipe. The Bacon Rib Ambila was smoky and tangy in flavour and is best to go with a bowl of white rice.
Carbonara with Bacon Fungi (RM 23.80) in the creamy sauce. Hmmm, i find my love goes to the one from Yogitree (post will be up very soon).
and this, I have TM-ed it with Leng&i.
our sweety
Muacks from Chris
and more Muacksss from both of us.
and 3G-ed Kampungboy who was stuck in hometown.
verdict: We can never resist pork, pork and pork... where is next for pork again?!
drop by on Wednesday, to get 20% discount on their pork burger :)
